The SAMI Group Baccalaureate Scholarship has been awarded to Mart Dudin
We are pleased to announce that our cooperation with the Tallinn University of Technology Development Fund has borne fruit and the “SAMI Group Bachelor Scholarship” has been awarded to Mart Dudin. This prestigious recognition will open up new opportunities for Mart in his engineering studies and future career. In addition to the scholarship, Mart will have the opportunity to work as a trainee at SAMI Machinery, where he will be able to complement his theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
Before presenting the certificate, we had the pleasure of introducing Mard to our production facilities in Saue and offering him the opportunity to see our product development process up close. This gave Mard an in-depth insight into our operations and future plans.
SAMI is committed to supporting the professional development of young engineers. With this scholarship, we aim to inspire and support future engineering excellence, giving them the opportunity to develop and realise their full potential.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Rector of Tallinn University of Technology, Tiit Land, and the Chairman of the Board, Robert Kitti, for their invaluable cooperation and support. Together, we can create a strong foundation for the success of young engineers.

The concept of scholarships dates back to ancient times, but one of the earliest recorded scholarships in the modern sense was founded by Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII, in 1502. She established the Lady Margaret Professorship of Divinity at Cambridge University and the Lady Margaret Lectureship of Divinity at Oxford University.
In the United States, one of the earliest fellowships was founded by John Harvard in 1636, when he donated his library and half of his fortune to what later became Harvard University.
These early scholarships laid the foundations for today’s scholarship system, which aims to provide educational opportunities for talented and deserving people.
